Glass rock insulation specification is 1.2mx0.6m, they are produced by the following steps: raw materials preparation, high temperature melting, spinning into fibes, pendulum cotton, curing, drying, cutting and packaging
Common specifications of glass rock wool insulation board are as follows:
Length 1.2m
Width 0.6m
Density 40kg/m3-200kg/m3
Thickness: 25mm-200mm
The production of rock wool board usually goes through the following steps:
1. Raw material preparation: basalt, slag, binder, dust-proof oil, water-repellent, etc. are selected as raw materials;
2. High-temperature melting: the raw materials are melted at high temperature in a cupola to form a liquid state;
3. Spinning into fibers: the centrifuge spins the high-temperature melt into fiber rock wool fibers;
4. Pendulum cotton: the pendulum method is used to stack the rock wool fibers layer by layer to control the thickness of the rock wool.
5. Curing: sent to the curing furnace for curing, the binder will shape the board and have a certain strength;
6. Drying: the cured rock wool board is dried at high temperature.
7. Cutting: the rock wool board is cut according to the size required by the customer.
8. Packaging: the rock wool board is heat-shrink packaged.
