Product Description

The main raw material of aluminum coil is aluminum ingot. After smelting and other processes, the alloy composition is adjusted to meet different performance requirements. The price of aluminum ingot varies every day according to supply and demand.

In industrial insulation, 1060 series and 3003 series aluminum coils are commonly used.

1060 series

Features: Industrial aluminum, aluminum content (mass fraction) is 99.60%, not heat-treated and strengthened. The surface of pure aluminum is silvery white, and its density decreases with the increase of purity or temperature.

Application: Conventional industry

3003 series

Features: Commonly used alloy series, mainly 3003. It can be called rust-proof aluminum plate, which is mainly composed of manganese. The content is between 1.0-1.5. The anti-rust function is good.

Use: In humid environments such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and car bottoms.

The following two points should be noted when storing alloy aluminum coils:

1. The storage environment should be ventilated and dry. Do not place it in a humid place, because aluminum coils are non-ferrous metals. If they come into contact with water, an oxidation reaction will occur, which will damage the surface of the aluminum coils and form white oxidation marks on the surface, affecting the appearance.

2. The sealing of the packaging. Generally speaking, aluminum coils will have waterproof packaging when they leave the factory. The appearance will be wrapped with a layer of plastic cloth, and a few packets of desiccant will be placed inside to prevent oxidation due to moisture or rainy weather during transportation. Generally speaking, try not to open or damage the packaging. Even if you need to use it, you should wrap the remaining aluminum coils after use and put them in a dry and ventilated place.

Generally speaking, if the above two points are achieved, the aluminum coils will basically not be oxidized when stored. The aluminum coils can be stored better and for a longer time.
