How to judge high quality rock wool?

High-quality rock wool soundproofing can be judged from the following aspects:

1. Appearance: uniform color, light green and brown, fine fibers and evenly distributed.
2. Performance: rock wool soundproofing has good fire resistance, and its combustion performance level needs to reach the A1 non-combustible standard. The thermal conductivity should be low, usually around 0.03-0.04 W/(m・K).

3. Hygroscopicity: The hygroscopicity is low, and the water absorption (partial immersion) is generally required not to exceed a certain proportion.

4. Strength and durability: The compressive strength and tensile strength of rock wool soundproofing should meet the relevant standards. When used in building insulation and other fields, it can withstand certain external forces without damage.
